DAY 01:

Welcome to Seattle. City tour.

Today, enter the world of Vacations Exotica as you begin your beautiful journey of the United States of America. On arrival at the Seattle Airport, you will be met by your experienced and professional Tour Manager in the arrivals area, located outside the customs hall. Proceed to your hotel and check in.

Later proceed on a guided tour of Seattle. See the Space Needle – the icon of the city, the Waterfront, Pioneer Square and other major sights. Also visit the Pike Place Public Market, a super traditional market visited by local and tourists alike.

Tonight enjoy an Indian dinner.

Overnight at hotel Executive Pacific or similar in Seattle (D).

DAY 02:

Drive to Vancouver. Board your luxurious Royal Caribbean Cruise to Alaska.

After an America breakfast at the hotel, drive to Vancouver to board your spectacular Alaska Cruise. Enjoy lunch on board the cruise and later enjoy the ambience of this magnificent ship.

DAY 03:

Enjoy your day cruising – Inside passage.

After an American breakfast you have the day at leisure to enjoy the activities and entertainment on board the cruise and indulge in a variety of activities for the entire family. Cruise along the stunning Inside Passage – Millions of years ago, southbound glaciers carved out the Inside Passage, leaving majestic fjords, islands and bays in their wake. These spectacular views will leave a lasting impression on you. Enjoy lunch. You may also try your luck at the casino and enjoy views from the solarium.

DAY 04:

Ketchikan – The salmon capital of the world.

After an American breakfast arrive at the picturesque salmon capital of the world. You can either enjoy the several amenities on board or opt for the several excursions that can be booked on board. Enjoy lunch on board. This evening enjoy the stunning scenery as you set sail.

DAY 05:

Icy Strait Point.

After an American breakfast, arrive into Icy Strait Point. Icy Strait Point is located near the city of Hoonah, the largest native Tlingit Indian settlement in Alaska, and very near Glacier Bay National Park. Home to a historic cannery, the port’s connection to the sea is strong. Locals share the sea with humpback whales, orcas, Dall porpoises, seals, sea otters, halibut and all five species of Pacific salmon. It is not uncommon to spot a humpback or an orca while walking along the shore.

You have the option to explore various optional excursions available on board or step out on you own to stroll into town.

DAY 06:

Juneau – The Alaskan capital.

After an American breakfast, you can spend some time in admiring the changing landscape and scenery as you get closer to Juneau. After Lunch, arrive in Junaeu – the capital of Alaska. This was the site of Alaska’s first major gold strike. Here you can take several spectacular excursions.

DAY 07:

Skagway – Gateway to the Klondike.

After an American breakfast, get ready to step off into Skagway. After lunch , you can relax on the ship or venture out on some thrilling excursions like Dogsledding and Glacial Flightseeing, Ride on the White Pass Scenic Railway, etc. Enjoy an Indian/ International dinner.

DAY 08:

Hubbard Glacier

After an American breakfast you have the day at leisure to enjoy the activities and entertainment on board the cruise and indulge in a variety of activities for the entire family.

Later arrive towards Hubbard Glacier. The longest river of ice in North America, the Hubbard Glacier is also one of the most active glaciers of its kind in Alaska. You will be able to see this massive natural wonder, with its 1,350 square miles of blue ice, from just about anywhere on the ship.

DAY 09:

Anchorage.

After an American breakfast on board, arrive into Seward. Disembark from the cruise and drive to Anchorage. travel along Alaska’s National Scenic Byway for 125 miles of unadulterated beauty. Kenai Lake provides incredible scenery as guests marvel at the sharp contrast between its stunning aqua-blue color and the lush dark green trees on the surrounding mountainside. As the passes through Moose Pass and begins the ascent of the Kenai Mountains, the forests are left behind and the scenery shifts to glorious views of mountain meadows and glacial streams. Next, the Placer River Valley, a place populated by moose, bear, and wolves, comes into view before turning a corner into Turnagain Arm, which provides the scenic backdrop for the remainder of the journey. Beluga whales are sometimes sighted from this part of the highway. On arrival, check in to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own.

DAY 10:

Visit Mush Kennel. Flight tour over Mt. McKinley. Drive to Denali National Park

After an American breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to the home and kennels of a four-time champion Iditarod Sled Dog Race musher. At the kennel, you will view a film on the sport of dog mushing and the Iditarod Race and then meet the athletes (dogs and puppies). The musher will give a presentation that features the gear used on the trail and finish up with a demonstration of the dogs pulling a sled. The next stop will be Talkeetna, where you will board fixed wing airplanes and soar over Mt. McKinley, North America’s tallest peak. Standing adjacent to Mount Foraker, together they form the two tallest peaks on the continent. Located on the northern flank of the Alaska Range, approximately 250 miles south of the Arctic Circle, McKinley towers 20,320 feet from its base. From the comfort of these touring aircraft, you will experience firsthand the massive bulk of this mountain. They will fly over Ruth Glacier, and the amphitheater (several glaciers converging into one), and see where mountain climbers begin their ascent at about 7000 feet in their attempts to reach the summit. This trip is one that you will remember for a lifetime, as you experience the vast expanse of unadulterated wilderness that is Alaska. The bush pilot guides will narrate the trip, talk about ascents of the mountain, the wildlife and the rugged lifestyles of those who challenge its massive peaks.

DAY 11:

Tundra Wilderness Tour.

After an American breakfast at the hotel, get set for a day long, comprehensive wildlife excursion will take you deep into Denali National Park for an up close and personal encounter with Alaska’s back country and wildlife. An expert guide will narrate the journey and provide in-depth information about the park’s history. As animals are spotted, the guide will capture video footage and the images will be projected onto drop-down video screens so each guest gets a close-up look. Enjoy breathtaking tundra scenery, towering mountains, and unparalleled photo opportunities of Alaska’s famed wildlife such as brown bears, caribou, moose, fox or Dall sheep.

After a day of sightseeing, return to the hotel and enjoy a family-style local dinner and show. The show a rollicking musical comedy about the first men to reach the summit of Mt. McKinley, also known as Denali, “the high one”. This evening provides a taste of Alaska’s colorful history; relish the pioneering spirit of the early explorers, including Alaskan native Walter Harper, who braved the wilderness to reach new heights.

DAY 12:

Dome Car Train to Anchorage.

After an American breakfast at the hotel, check out and get set to board the Alaska Railroad Train. Travel in style aboard Alaska Railroad’s Adventure Class cars as you take the relaxing trip to Anchorage. As the train departs Denali, the trip cuts through the northern boreal forests of interior Alaska where birch, aspen, and willow trees fill the same landscape gold miners once flocked to seeking fortune. A few miles from Denali, the train passes into Broad Pass. Broad Pass is the highest point on the railroad, peaking at 2,363 feet, and it’s a favorite migration spot for caribou during the fall season. As the track descends toward the tree line it crosses Hurricane Gulch, the longest bridge on the railroad system, towering 296-feet over Hurricane Creek. Beavers and beaver lodges can be seen in the ponds along the way as the train moves into the Indian River Canyon and travels along the Susitna River. On clear days, more views of Mt. McKinley emerge across the river providing excellent photo opportunities and oftentimes black and brown bears frequent the river’s sandbars, scuttling into the brush as the train approaches. As Talkeetna fades into the distance, the Matanuska Valley appears. Expansive watershed from the Knik and Matanuska Rivers are home to wildlife including moose, bear, and the occasional wolf as well as abundant waterfowl.

Seattle.

After an American breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the airport for your flight to Seattle. Arrive into Seattle and check in to the hotel.
