1 night Gulmarg / 2 nights Pahalgam / 1 nights houseboat Srinagar / 2 nights in Srinagar Hotel

DAY 01:

Srinagar – Gulmarg (2 to 3 hours drive one way)

Arrive Srinagar, on arrival our representative will meet you and assist you to be transferred to Gulmarg - Gulmarg lies in the west of Srinagar at a distance of 56 kms. On an altitude of 2730 mts, above sea level, snow caped mountains are all around, one can even have a view of Nanga Parbat on a clear sunny day. It is premier winter sports Ski resorts for Skiers with one of the world’s highest 18 hole golf courses. For joy seekers, cable car presently upto Khilanmarg & is Asia’s long run cable ride appox.5 kms.

Please do not get perturbed with the distance as travelling in Kashmir is beauty as well. We will again pass through the saffron fields and later to Gulmarg via Tangmarg. The journey up hills serpentine where you can enjoy the beauty of Gorges and Pine trees. Arrive Gulmarg and check into the hotel.

DAY 02:

Gulmarg – Pahalgham (4 hours drive)

After breakfast enjoy Gondola Ride (Gondola Ride upto First Phase) Gulmarg – The Switzerland of Asia. This picturesque tourist spot is agog with activities round the clock. While the lush green meadows in summer will be a treat to your eyes, so will the snowfall of winters have a soothing effect on your heart and mind. Catch nature at a height by taking a cable car ride (gondola – up to first phase included in cost). Later drive to PAHALGHAM Depart for Pahalgham (4 hours drive 96 kms). In the south-east of Srinagar situated at an altitude of 2130 mts. above sea level. It is Kashmir’s most popular resort surrounded by high mountains , dense forests, high mountain altitude lakes , it also offers 9 hole golf course, Skiing, pony trails, Angling,(rainbow & brown trout’s) horse ridding, trekking (both hard & soft) & various places of interest . Arrive Pahalgahm and check into the hotel. and later relax in the Hotel.

DAY 03:

Pahalgham - (Aru / Chandanwari and betab valley by 01 Non Ac Sumo) After Breakfast sightseeing of PAHALGHAM – sightseeing of Chandanwari, Betab Valley, and Aru.

Chandanwari at 2,895 m and 16 km (10 miles) from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the Amamath yatra. The road from Pahalgam to Chandanwari is curvy, sometimes a relatively flat terrain, with quite a few steep curves. It can be undertaken by car (not busses and trucks for most part) with some skilled driving. From Chandanwari onwards the track becomes much steeper, being accessible on foot or by pony only. 11 km from Chandanwari is the mountain lake of Sheshnag, after which, 13 km away is the last stop, Panchtarni. A narrow spiraling path from Panchtarni leads to the Amarnath Cave.

ARU A small village, 11 kms upstream the Lidder River, is a beautiful locality. The route is picturesque with ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier.This charming meadow can be reached by walking along a mountain path. The river Lidder disappears at Gur Khumb and reappears after 27 mts.

Betab Valley - Betaab Valley, situated just 7 km up on Pahalgam, has got its name from Sunny Deol’s movie, Betaab, which was shot extensively in this area. Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. There is a beautiful garden in the valley, with a bridge to cross the river. The Pahalgam Development Authority has proposed to develop this valley as a beautiful holidaying spot and is thus, carrying out several construction activities in the region.

After sightseeing return to the hotel Later time to relax in the evening. Dinner & Overnight in Hotel at Pahalgam.

DAY 04:

Pahalgahm – Srinagar (4 hours drive)

Arrive Srinagar, on arrival be transferred to houseboat.. After check in you are free to relax and to enjoy the scenic beauty of Srinagar, the picturesque summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, which is at an elevation of 5,200 feet (1,600 meters) and comprises a system of lakes and waterways. The Jhelum River flows through the center of the old city while the idyllic Dal and Nagin Lake to the east of the city are linked by an intricate maze of waterways. The valley of Kashmir, beautiful with its snow capped mountains and pristine lakes, captivated the Mughals. So taken by the surroundings, the Mughal Emperors created terraced hillside gardens to enjoy the views. Mughal formal garden style reached its peak here and of the over seven hundred gardens in the valley, today only the Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh and a few others, survive on the eastern shore of the Dal Lake.

DAY 05 :

May 11: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar (174 kms – one way 4 hours)

After breakfast check out of houseboat and depart for full day excursion to Sonmarg - “The Meadow of Gold” 87kms from Srinagar in the north-east of Srinagar at altitude of 3000 mts, above sea level. The place offers incredible Scenic beauty (while driving to Sonmarg) dense pine forests, Gigantic Mountains. The place itself is a popular resort for mountaineers, rock climbing, besides an important halt on way to Kargil (Ladakh) & provides the ideal base for various trekking routes, high mountains, lakes, glaciers & Shri Amarnath ji holy cave. The vehicle will drop you to Glacier Restaurant and then onwards you will make your way by pony or hired vehicle up into the snow covered mountains.( cost will be borne by the passenger) On your return, the previous vehicle will pick you up from Glacier restaurant and bring you back to your hotel in Srinagar..

DAY 06 :

Srinagar

After Breakfast sightseeing of Srinagar visiting the famous Mughal Gardens, Cheshma Shahi(Royal Spring), Nishat(Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar ( Abode of Love) Mughal laid Out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-Lake in the heart of Srinagar City and the Shankaracharya Temple. Later return to the hotel.

Evening Shikara ride on Dal lake, enjoy the scenic view of mountain ranges around Dal-Lake, view the Waterways, Back Waters, Canals, Floating Garden, Vegetable Gardens, Water Lilies, Lotus Flowers, Easily accessible Mobile Venders, Floating, Handicrafts Centre & inherited lifestyle of people living inside the Lake since decades. Later return to the hotel. Dinner & Overnight at the hotel in - Srinagar.

DAY 07:

Depart Srinagar

After breakfast ,drive to the airport for your return journey to Mumbai
